The vibe I get from comparing your version of the characters to the originals done by meomi, to me, is a lot like comparing 8-track to digital. It's the same thing, but the newer version's quality is so much better.
As for the characters themselves, they are very well drawn, but if it was just the characters themselves without the logos, I would be hard pressed to place them. Other than that, though, I have nothing bad to say about this piece. The simple background amplifies the characters' details, and there are details aplenty: from the twirling design on Quatchi's earmuffs, to the realistic brochure, to the Vancouver logo on Miga's outfit.
